Hurst Christian Youth

The youth group at Hurst Christian Church is a vital part of the Spirit and Life of our congregation. Right now we have a strong high school age program (Christian Youth Fellowship, CYF) but there is opportunities for all ages here.

    Each week the youth meet for Sunday fellowship, which includes a meal prepared by a congregation member and games or picnics. They also meet each Wednesday evening for Bible Study and spiritual growth. Outside of the normal weekly schedule the youth plans multiple fundraisers each year. These events help pay for mission trips, lock-ins, and the occasional party. The Youth group is very dedicated to outreach. They currently have an adopted child in Ghana and give whole-heartedly to their church and community.

    The youth are also fortunate to have a Great camping system in the Trinity-Brazos Area (or commonly referred to as TBA). There are camps for everyone from 2nd grade to 12th, and then many opportunities for counseling after high school.
