All members are encouraged to help
plan
for special events
in order to keep worship a refreshing experience we like to have different people plan worship for special days and events

All women of Hurst Christian Church are members of this group and are invited to attend meetings, guests are always welcome

Meets second Tuesday of the month at 10:30a.m. for business and devotionals
Bring a sack lunch
Drinks and dessert provided by members
also meets on the fourth Tuesday of the month for Bible study, all women are welcome

Women of all ages are invited to attend either circle

An organization of fellowship and service for the men of Hurst Christian Church
Meets once a month for fellowship and to review needs and opportunities of service, call church office for date and time

Meets twice a month on Saturday evenings at 7:00 PM for fellowship and to review needs and opportunities of service, call church office for dates and time

CYF - 9th through 12th grade
Chi Rho - 6th through 8th grade
Juniors - 3rd through 5th grade
Weekly bible study and fellowship

Targeted toward Seniors and Retirees but everyone is welcome
Meets third Monday of the month for Pot Luck meal and activity
examples of activities are: museums, plays, tours, baseball games, and trips

includes:
a list of our prayer list both long and short term
the members of the community we are praying for each month

We are involved in on-going outreach activities in the local area
(Northeast Emergency Distribution)
an inter-denominational social service ministry
provides emergency food, utility, clothing assistance
We provide active volunteers for help operation

Donor program for the benefit of church members
arranged visits from the Blood Mobile to the church

a 5K walk that members do for Church World Service hunger relief
takes place the third week-end of October each year
HCC Outreach department is always looking for other ministries in outreach

including those never married, divorced or widowed
currently age is not limited to any age distinction
